Understanding

1850_Ohio__Pennsylvania20pct Money is not scarce, not now, nor has it ever been so. Legal tender has been.

Money is credit based on trust. Legal tender is a method to defraud honest workers of their productive capacity.

In effect, legal tender is a way to make everyone play the game on an uneven field. I am the big guy and I make and change the rules at will. You are the little guy and have to do everything I want. Legal tender is a system which enforces scarcity.

Money is not in short supply. It is all just an idea. What may be in short supply is trust. That is what has to now be built up, but it will come quite naturally.

Saying there is not enough money is like saying there are not enough pounds to weigh the apples, not enough inches and feet to build the house.

The writer has lived most of her life without legal tender or with very little. What has allowed her to survive, to prosper? Compassion, love, trust of others. Others have extended themselves on behalf of her.  That is the real money. What is your real capital? It is your capacity to love and trust.

You may also be productive, but if you have no capacity for love and trust, your currency will not be high in trade. It will cease to be valued amongst your peers. This is my experience.
